Gauze tab curtains are a very inexpensive way to cover your windows in an airy tasteful way, especially in rooms with entire walls made of windows. They look wonderful in any environment, especially in tropical and subtropical settings like beach houses and cottages or houses and apartments in warmer climates. They give you privacy while permitting air to circulate freely, creating a comfortable and very aesthetic environment.

How sheer they are and how much privacy they provide is dependent on how much draping there is over your window. Each gauze curtain measures 44 inches wide by 104 inches long, which makes them ideal for condos and apartments which have high ceilings. If you use just one curtain to cover a 44 inches wide window, the effect will be totally sheer with no privacy. If it's privacy you want, while creating a light and airy feel in your place, then you will need 2 to 2.5 times coverage. This means that for a wall that is 12 feet long ( 144 inches ) and entirely made up of windows, you would need 7 to 8 gauze curtains to give you a sense of privacy.

Our gauze curtains make wonderful canopies over beds. To get a really dramatic effect, use 8 curtains for queen and king sized beds.
Another use for these curtains is to just drape them sideways over curtain rods on top of other curtains, to create a splash of color.
